This was such a beautiful pieceπ₯Ήπ€ . Congratulations on your new job and rock that place. Ngathi nje ngizoza to that restaurant ngizokubulisaπππ€£.
As someone who's passed all those stages and is now in a career that has nothing to do with what I studied but unemployed. I saw myself in this piece. Every emotion, thought and prayer, I had. It's heart warming to see that I'm not the only one that went through it, and seeing your testimony is a sign that God isn't done with me yet. Thank you for pouring your heart out and sharing your story Tumi β€οΈ
We're alone in this togetherπ. Life is all about figuring things out, and I hope that you find your way out and when you do... I dare you to write about itπ!!!
i wrote about how i define myself with my grades so i related to a lot of aspect of this piece. i wasn't rejected by uj per se but i got an email of how there was no space and i remember that feeling very well. the uncertainty of life is so uncomfortable to deal with and even accept. but honestly, what you said is true. you need to accept change because it'll happen regardless of whether you accept it or not. this deadass encouraged me to try applying to jobs again. after my horrible marks in the first semester, i had all but given up. so thank you for that. this was such an honest and beautiful piece β‘ congratulations on your job!!
